MERAKI team

MERAKI comes from Greek. Untranslatable by a single word, it represents the concept of doing with passion, love, and creativity; of putting oneself into one’s work. A word that sounds so good, but, above all, that resonates so true. For us who still feel while working that we are playing like children; for us who do not separate pleasure from work, MERAKI is a way of life. And, we hope, may be yours too.

After years of dreaming about it, MERAKI was born from the desire (and madness!) to embody our artistic vision of design in a unique product, imagined and designed close to those we love. A small branch that dreams big from Pigment Design, MERAKI bears the signature of each colorful personality of our experienced team, who has been passionate for over 10 years about beautifying businesses here.

With a team passionate about current trends, we create our exclusives in the workshop by always prioritizing quality, while aiming for the shortest path between our creations and your environment. From the design of patterns to production, from printing wall coverings to installation, we accompany everything we do with boldness, pleasure, and, we admit, coffee too.

Guided by our values as well as our favorites, we also partner with the many talents that abound in Quebec. For illustration, we seek to surround ourselves with the best creators and to make them known and loved by you.

On a daily basis, here are the designers behind the patterns, whether they are bold or (barely) more subdued.

Fanie

Enthusiastic, bright, and determined, Fanie (hello!) is the founder of Pigment Design and MERAKI. Over the years, she has embellished many businesses here, thus creating work that reflects her image. Around her creative universe, she has gathered a strong team that shares a common vision and the desire to (re)create with everything at hand.

Mylène

Radiant, meticulous, and frankly endearing, Mylène (nice to meet you!) is one of those people you meet for the first time and immediately want to share coffee and confidences with. Appearing reserved, she is brimming with ideas, overflowing with creativity, and adds a touch of humor and lightness to everything.

Marie-France

Bright, positive, and incredibly caring, Marie-France (holà!) sees beauty everywhere, whether in her work, in the nature she captures daily, or in the humans – her priority! – she interacts with, always with renewed joy. An illustrator overflowing with imagination, she creates with a child’s heart and shares, arms wide open, a contagious happiness.

Camille

Cheerful, talented, and certainly competent, Camille (hey!) is "the baby of the family." Discovered during an internship, it was clear that she had everything to carve out a nice place in the team. With an innate artistic sense and a desire to always do better, she inspects, packs, and ships your orders while singing. On the scale of joy for life, Camille certainly stands on the highest rung.

Not to forget those who have infused MERAKI with their passion for beauty, their rigor, and everything that makes them the unique humans we cherish. Esther, for her positivity and dynamism. Nadine, for her brain bubbling with both original and functional ideas. Ange, for coloring our DNA, and a large number of patterns, with her energy and talent. All three of you hold a significant part of the success of this project.
